A family reunion was taking place at The Breckinridge apartment complex last Saturday when authorities said a shooting occurred just after 5pm. The balance, a dead woman and three other people injured, including a 10-year-old boy.
Upon their arrival, the authorities found 4 injured, a woman, two men and a 10-year-old boy. The 40-year-old woman died after arriving at hospital. The names of the victims will not be revealed, since relatives took advantage of the Marcy law.
“The truth is unfortunate what happened. We were there, well I went out and when I came back the street was already closed, so what I heard was that they were shooting at each other, “says a neighbour.
Authorities said the 31-year-old shooter committed suicide after shooting the other three people.
The name of the shooter has not yet been released by authorities.
Authorities have reported that the 10-year-old boy is in serious but stable condition. The 28-year-old is in serious condition. They did not report on the condition of the person who fired.
