Smart and always eager to help people. This is how his acquaintances describe Claudia Ordoñez, 47, a month after her murder.

Her best friend Genoveva Dávalos gave a very moving interview in which she said: “I couldn’t believe it. I stopped the car and started yelling at my mother “no, it’s not possible that my friend is gone”, she recalls.

“I saw her once, but I didn’t feel a good atmosphere from her, she was very excited about her relationship with him”, refers Axel Ordoñez Díaz, 47, the man accused of her murder .

According to authorities, the accused stabbed and ran her over with his own car.

“Then I found out they had a problem and I said to her, ‘friend, please don’t go back to this guy who is dangerous’ and she said to me, ‘no, I’m not more with him.’ It was just day 2 that I saw her”.

Dávalos says the couple had an on-and-off relationship and only saw the accused once.

“I saw her on January 2 and she died on the 5th. I called her and she did not answer and she is never one of those who does not answer me”, says the victim’s friend .

The arrest report, for its part, indicates that Ordoñez Díaz took the victim out of the car and hit her. He then armed himself with a knife to stab and cut her repeatedly.

Court records indicate the subject then got into his car and rolled over Claudia’s body before crashing into a neighbor’s car, injuring the two people inside.

The incident happened in southwest Miami Dade.

A ring camera captured the police shootout that followed the deadly attack.

Neighbors who witnessed tell us that Ordóñez Díaz refused to follow the orders of the agents and even made a move towards the agents. He was taken to hospital to recover after being shot.

Claudia was not so lucky.

“Claudia was a spiritual woman. He loved God above all else. Very intelligent, visionary, dreamer, avant-garde”.

Ordoñez Díaz is still being held in TGK prison without bail, facing one count of second degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
