It’s not that I’m particularly excited this German romantic comedy that looks like a Sunday movie on Antena 3but I am aware that the genre works very well in netflix. Well, at some point, there’s going to be a movie like this that’s moderately good, right? Without going any further, It’s You is a good exception to the rule.
Luther: Night Falls – March 10, 2023
Idris Elbe gets back into the skin of John Luther again, this time with the aroma of a final farewell. The character will face a cold case after breaking out of prison in an attempt to catch a sadistic serial killer. Will this be the turning point the hit British series had to say goodbye forever? Or will he not do him justice?
The Sorcerer’s Elephant – March 17, 2023
You surely agree with me that Netflix hits the table with its animated movies. Sea monster, Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro, The MItchells against the machines oh Long live are just a few examples that “piss” in quality in some films of disney oh Dream works. Beyond this somewhat unfortunate comparison (which I will not delete because that is what I think), The Wizard’s Elephant is a film directed by Wendy Rogers that promises both adventure and comedy. And its animation is brutal.
Furies – March 23, 2023
If you saw in netflix a film called Anger (o Hai Phuongin Vietnamese), I’m sure you agree with me how entertaining it was. Now it’s also about the platform streaming its prequel, titled Furies and promising “more and better”. Veronique Ngo, protagonist of the first opus, is now the director and screenwriter of the second. Will this movie be as fun as the original?
