A woman has been killed and a man has been hospitalized after a shooting that occurred in the valet parking lot of a Hallandale Beach resort in Broward County.
Hallandale Beach Police say units attended the Beach Walk Resort and Residences, located at 2602 Hallandale Beach Boulevard, east of town after reports of a shooting.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 12.15pm on Sunday and preliminary inquests say a woman and a man were shot and killed by an unknown man who approached them and began shooting at them.
Both were taken to Aventura Hospital where the woman died, while the man remains in critical condition.
The suspect is on the run and according to Hallandale Police it appears to be a domestic violence related case.
The identity of the victims and the contact details of the suspect have not been provided.
