The Colombian artist is back in the news after leaving her home in Barcelona with some moving words. However, this time he does so by sharing a statement on his networks making a request. The turmoil caused last year has put her children, as well as her family, in the spotlightand that led him to want to apply.
She understands that as a public figure there is “a permanent curiosity on the part of the press” around her family and her, especially since her separation from Gerard Pique has been made public and with all the rumors she had to deal with. However, she insisted that her children “had a very difficult year, suffering an incessant siege and relentless persecution by the paparazzi and various media in Barcelona”.
Likewise, now that they have already crossed the pond, they are entering a new era as far as school is concerned and that, in short, they are entering “a new stage in their lives”, Shakira asked on behalf of her children that “please respect their right to privacy”.
