The former white policeman convicted on Tuesday in the United States for the murder of the African-American George Floyd He will be sentenced on June 16, indicated a court document published on Friday.

Chauvin, 45, was convicted of all three counts: second degree murder, third degree murder and manslaughter.

He faces up to 12.5 years in prison under state guidelines, although the judge could extend that term if he finds there are aggravating circumstances. The most serious crime for which he was convicted carries a maximum penalty of 40 years.
