Tesla has scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, the Investors Day, where the renderings of the plant to be installed in Nuevo Leon will be projected.
Monterrey. – Samuel García, Governor of Nuevo León, will visit the city of Austin Texas tomorrow, and will attend the Investors Day of Tesla, a company that will make official its arrival in Mexico through the installation of a vehicle assembly plant in the northern state.
Through Instagram, the state governor revealed details about his trip where Tesla executives will detail the investment that is estimated to reach up to 10 billion dollars.
Renderings of the plant that Elon Musk’s company will build in the municipality of Santa Catarina are also expected to be shown.
”Very happy, we are going to go tomorrow to the Investors day in Austin. There they are going to show the rendering of how the plant will look like in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon”, said Samuel.
Tesla in Nuevo Leon is a reality; the President of Mexico confirmed it.
Today, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed in his press conference that the Tesla company will be installed in the state of Nuevo León, after days of uncertainty and doubts, since there were versions about the construction of the plant in other parts of the Mexican Republic.
“Things are going well, we talked yesterday with Elon Musk, there is already an understanding. Yes, they are going to invest in Mexico and the plant will be established in Monterrey with a series of commitments to face the problem of water shortage”, said the President.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already notified that the investment was not at risk, and that Tesla would come to Mexico, but the novelty was the confirmation of Nuevo León, since the Federal Government had thought that there were other options in the south of the country, alleging that there would be no water facilities in the north.
