Razzie Awards 2023: the complete list of winners!

We have just witnessed the most awaited evening for film buffs and the general public who love cinema: from March 12 to 13, the best films and personalities from the world of cinema were awarded at the Oscar 2023 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. While the reviews and celebrations that take place for each winner are done, as tradition dictates, the Razzie Awards at its 43rd annual edition. From worst to best, the Razzie Awards reward each year the worst of the film year that has just ended.

Held on March 10, the 2023 Razzie Awards ceremony chose the best in the worst of their cinematic endeavors this year from the many nominees. Among the most “awarded” is Blond, biopic on Marilyn Monroe, who took two Razzies (worst picture and worst case scenario). the same fate ran Elvis with Tom Hanks, who won the statuette for worst lead actor and worst couple. And we remind you that Austin Butler was nominated for an Oscar for his performance in Elvis.

The Worst Actress award, on the other hand, went to the same association as the Razzies, guilty of naming Ryan Kiera Armstronga very young actress (barely 12) who starred in Firestarter.

TO USE: The 2023 Razzie Awards body nominated 12-year-old actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong this year for her role in the film ‘Eyes of Fire’ (Firestarter). This nomination did not sit well with fans of this award and the general public, so the Razzies were forced to apologize and change the rules, introducing an age limit of 18 for future nominations. However, looking to turn the tide, they nominated themselves for what they had done and ended up awarding themselves the prize.

Finally, the Razzie Redeemer Award of this edition ran into Colin Farrell, who earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his work in The Banshees of Inisherin. Many may recall that in 2004 he was nominated for a Razzie for Alexander the Great, a film which was also nominated for Worst Picture of the Year and dethroned Catwoman in a big way. He definitely redeemed himself.
