An Oxnard woman is hailed as a ‘puppy cupid’ after connecting six canine babies with her colleagues.

Danielle Ramirez, from a dog-loving family, helped facilitate the adoption of six new puppies from the same litter raised by her sister-in-law’s sister.

As soon as he learned that the new dogs needed a home, Ramirez immediately got to work asking his co-workers in the Child Development Resources from Ventura County to Oxnard.

“I started texting and emailing people,” Ramírez recalls. “I wish I could walk around and ask people every day, ‘Do you want a puppy?'”

The puppies left quickly, according to Ramirez. In the end, five colleagues became new fur parents and one of them is now raising two puppies at a time.

“Now we’re one big puppy family,” Ramirez said. “They like to talk about puppies among themselves and say, ‘Let me see pictures.’ Send me pictures.'”

Since being sent to their new families, the cubs are now 4 months old. To celebrate the fact that the co-workers are now canine parents, their employer hosted a puppy get-together at the office where the siblings got to see each other and receive goody bags.

“It was awesome to see how big they got,” laughed Ramirez. “You could tell they were siblings. It was fun watching them run around and play.”

The fellow furry parents hope to have an annual get-together, allowing the dogs to play with their siblings again.
