Orlando Florida. – The Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival will be held on April 22, 2023 in downtown Orlando.

The event, whose purpose is to promote the culture, heritage of the Puerto Rican community and its contributions to the state, will have the sound of the Puerto Rican drum with folk music, the bomba, the plena and the vegigantes.

“We are asking Puerto Ricans in Central Florida to come together for the Puerto Rican Parade and Festival,” said Pablo Cáceres, of the Florida Puerto Rican Festival Executive Committee.

The organization of the event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m. the parade will start in front of Lake Eola. The festival will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Orange Avenue.

The parade and festival promote the achievements of Puerto Ricans in business, health, music, science, arts, and government. Puerto Ricans from all cities in Florida and surrounding states are encouraged to attend.

This year the activity is dedicated to the municipality of Loíza.
