NEW YORK – Authorities are investigating a car accident involving a New York City Police Department (NYPD) patrol car that occurred on Monday afternoon.
According to information from those in uniform, at around 4:48 p.m., police officers were responding to a call about a robbery in the area of University Square there E 13th Streetwith the patrol lights on, and at this time a car accident occurred with a white car.
Two of the officers and a passenger in the other car were taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police added.
No further details have been released.
