At the end of the one hundred and forty-second episode of Pokemon Explore received another update on the franchise’s ninth-generation anime series, which will debut in Japan on April 14.
Last week we were introduced to the new protagonist He’s staying, a girl from Paldea with a mysterious pendant that may or may not be related to the Teracrystal phenomenon judging by the shape. This week, however, the series’ second protagonist was introduced, Roy. It was revealed about him that he is a boy from the area of Kantō and who has with him a mysterious Poké Ball with a very steam punk design, perhaps antique. On the pages of CoroCoro there was an insert on the new series, where the question is asked who will be the Roy’s partner pokemon. Unlike Liko, who will have a Sprigatito as his companion, Roy was not featured with a mon, although in the various promotional materials he is pictured with Fuecoco and Quaxly, Paldea’s other two starters.
It’s also written in the magazine that Liko and Roy will have adventures across the Pokémon world, including the new region of Paldea, and seems to tie Shiny Pokémon to teracrystallization. A Chromatic Rayquaza, already appeared in the first teaser of the anime, will indeed have a fundamental role in the story of the two characters. Upcoming episodes of Aim to Be a Pokémon Master
There are still 5 episodes left at the end of Pokémon Explorations, and then we’ll find ourselves saying goodbye to Ash and Pikachu. In the next episodes, the two, obviously accompanied by Misty and Brock, will meet the Lapras who they traveled with during the Orange Islands story arc in the first series and will be dealing with a Bench causing trouble in a small town at night. Will Team Rocket also prepare a counterattack, perhaps their last operation to capture Pikachu?
