The Genshin Impact Twitch live has just ended, announcing all the new features of version 3.5, to be released around March 1, 2023. Many novelties, most of which are already known, while others were good surprises, especially the events presented. Starting with new characters, new story missions and much more.
Let’s take a closer look at everything that was shown, starting with a fantastic trailer for the sequel to the story, where Dainsleif is shown again. From the trailer, we saw a hilichurl trying to take off his mask, show his face, and the abyss coming back in the way to thwart the traveler’s plans.
Genshin Impact 3.5, the new characters
Dehya
We had already talked about Dehya during the 3.5 leaks. Dehya is a desert mercenary, affiliated with Sumeru, whom we saw during the main quest related to Dunyarzad and the dendro of Archon, Nahida. From what we can see, has a claymore and is a Pyro type.
With her we will also have hers story missionand will be inserted in the banner with Cino, Electro-type Desert Lancer. Dehya’s weapon, which will be included in the new banner, is called “Reed Sea Lighthouse”and it is indeed a claymore.
Mike
Continuing the live stream, the new character was finally introduced 4 stars, Mika, affiliated with Mondstadt and the Knights of Favonius. He has a vision cryo and use a lancia, although his last shot was launched by a hand crossbow. Mika will be included in the banner with Ayaka Kamisato and Shenhe, both cryo-type. The first is a swordswoman affiliated with Inazuma, the second is a spearman affiliated with the followers of Liyue.
In the live, we also saw a new Hangout event, which includes the character Farouzan 4 stars, anemo-like. Additionally, two new enemies related to the Abyss were shown: a new herald of the abysscryo-type, and a new member of the Black Serpent Knightsgeo type.

All events in version 3.5
Windblume’s Breath
The event Windblume’s Breath, which gives its name to the brand new version of Genshin Impact, takes place in Mondstadt. Inside the Hall of the Knights of Favonius, an additional floor has been created, where the event can take place. The event is to collect anemo balloons to burst in the shortest possible time, until a circle of flowers appears, which allows you to exit and complete the event. Among the rewards of this event, in addition to Primogems and Ascension and Mora materials, there will be a new Claymore called Flower sent by post and the material “Unchanging Silky Grace”.
Breeze Ballads
The event Breeze Ballads it consists of choosing a musical instrument and pressing the right keys in time to play the right melody. It’s just a rhythm game, Mondstadt’s new Guitar Hero, but without a guitar and with a lyre. The rewards will be primogems, mora, and materials.

Western spices
The Spices of the West event is a very simple cooking event, where you will be presented with several selectable ingredients and the correct ingredient at the top of the screen. The goal is to select the right ingredient by clicking in the right place as the line moves, like in traditional Genshin cooking. The rewards will be primogems, mora, and materials.
Mushroom Mechanicus
The Fungus Mechanicus event felt like a tower defense in every way: top view, multiple tower defenses in a “checkerboard” area. The only difference is that the towers will be our enemies and the mushrooms our companions. The goal is to destroy all the towers in the shortest possible time, trying to use mushrooms that can perform effective elemental reactions. The rewards will be primogems, mora, and materials.
Vibro-crystalline verification
A bit like we saw in the last event related to Lisa’s skin: an area of the map with a portal where we can enter, which allows us to fight against enemies by forming teams. For each team, a connection of crystals can be made which allows to increase the damage or, in any case, to have various buffs that bring benefits to our fights. The rewards will be primogems, mora, and materials.
Overflow of ley lines
This is the most common and classic event in Genshin, seen in the past. The geomantic lines that we will find in the different regions will double the rewards three times in one day, whether blackberries or power-up items to increase the experience of our characters.
News of the latest versions
Among the latest additions to this release of Genshin Impact 3.5 are updates for Invocation of Genie. Among them, there will be three new characters who had already leaked in the past: Kokomi, Eula and Kujou Sara. In addition, a new feature will be added to the Adventurer’s Book: in the guide section, it will be possible to redeem the rewards for all Archon missions completed so far.
