With persecution, imprisonment, restrictions and prohibitions, Holy Week passed in Nicaragua, due to the constant rebuke of the Ortega Murillo regime which did not allow Catholic parishioners to manifest their Christian faith in the traditional Way of the Cross.

Faced with this repressive panorama in the church of San Juan Apóstol east of Hialeah, they are about to dedicate this way of the cross, which represents the death of Jesus to the democracy of Nicaragua, and the release of the bishop Rolando Alvarez and other political prisoners.

On this day when we remember the pain and sacrifice of Jesus for humanity, these parishioners take the opportunity to raise their voices for this suffered and repressed Nicaragua.
