Telemundo 47/WNJU, NBC 4 New York/WNBC and Montclair State University School of Communication and Media on Tuesday unveiled a partnership to enhance the learning experience and provide professional development opportunities for the diverse group of future school media professionals .

Through this partnership, students will benefit from special events with WNBC station executives, guest speakers in class, internship opportunities, and other unique experiences to create dynamic multimedia content.

In addition, students will also benefit from the progressive involvement of Telemundo 47/WNJU executives and journalists, supporting Montclair’s growing curricular commitment to reporting in Spanish.

The partnership was officially announced during “Know Your Future,” an event in the SCM Pitch Room that included a panel discussion with experts from NBC 4 New York/WNBC, Telemundo 47/WNJU and NBCUniversal on building careers in media and breakout sessions on best practices for interviews.
