It is clear that in shooting games what matters most are the weapons, but these would be completely useless without the person who wields them and, above all, without two legs that allow them to move on the different cards that the game offers. What I just said is obvious, but it is often taken for granted that the movement system of a game is something immutable, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the new Season 3 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has brought a series of changes that are worth paying attention to.
The fact is that many people have spoken out in the past to voice their complaints about the idea that Getting around in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 didn’t feel as good as it could possibly get; something that can be quite embarrassing when you go against the Game Feel or, said in Christian: the pleasure you feel when you see how the character responds to the actions you order him to perform via the controller. Anyway, I leave you with the changes that both games received below.
The way to move in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has changed
As Activision itself commented on the official blog who published with all the news of this season 3There are three specific changes we need to watch out for, which correspond to the following:
- There will now be a shorter delay between when you fire and when you start jumping towards the ground 1️⃣
- Glide speed has been increased 2️⃣
- The system that allows you to jump through windows and ledges has been improved so that the character can do it more fluently 3️⃣
Does this mean that now people will abuse sliding as they did in previous episodes for sniffing this mechanic? Most likely yes, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they nerf it again in the future when people start complaining about it. After all, that’s how Warzone worked back then, and it would be ugly not to respect the old customs.
