Miami Beach is preparing the great food and wine festival in the United States: the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) presented by Capital One. The festival will feature 5 new events, highlighting the first FoodieCon.

Among the expected flagship events of the festival are the Burger Bash, Taste of Italy, Grand Tasting Village and Bacardi Carnival. FoodieCon will be the first gathering of its kind with food influencers, the most influential digital content creators in the food and beverage community.

Fans of the food festival will be able to choose from more than 100 events and enjoy world-class food and wine, as well as music. Among these events is Tacos & Tequila which will be hosted by actor and Machete star Danny Trejo.

The festival lasts for four days, from Thursday, February 23 to Sunday, February 26. While it has South Beach in its name, this festival spans multiple neighborhoods and counties in South Florida.

Taking place on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Loews Miami Beach, FoodieCon offers a day of social media-worthy cooking demos, interactive panels with digital thought leaders, immersive activations and photo opportunities, book signings and plus. It all culminates in a poolside reception featuring the best creators in the culinary industry.

“For the first time, foodies will have exclusive access to connect and learn from their favorite social media personalities, chefs, and content creators, who we follow daily for new recipes, cuisine discoveries, and networking through a shared love of food,” said Lee Brian Schrager, founder and director of SOBEWFF.

Tickets for the festival are already on sale. According to the event page, 100% of the net proceeds benefit FIU’s Chaplin School of Management and Hospitality & Tourism. To date, heading into its 22nd year, SOBEWFF has raised more than $34 million for the aforementioned educational institution.

To be eligible to win tickets to FoodieCon you can post a photo or video of your favorite food or drink, follow the Instagram page @foodiecon and use the hashtag #FoodieCon to be eligible. One winner will be randomly selected to win tickets for two.
