The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) reported a knife attack in which one person died.
The events occurred near the intersection of Katie Avenue and Maryland Parkway around 8:58 a.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, a man was found on the ground with stab wounds and medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
The investigation reveals that a man allegedly committed the crime and was taken into custody, but for the moment the motives and the type of weapon used are unknown.
