A man, who was found on a Miami street, was pronounced dead after an apparent hit and run on Monday morning, police confirmed.
The incident happened at 6:44 a.m. in the area of 27th Avenue and 37th Street, where officers attended to investigate the discovery of a man lying on the sidewalk.
When officers arrived, they found the man lying on the ground and apparently unconscious as they waited for Miami firefighters to arrive, who pronounced him dead.
The Miami police said that according to the preliminary investigation, the man was hit by a car, the driver of which had left the scene.
