Jeremy D. Bittner, 41, was arrested Monday on multiple counts of sexual assault, false imprisonment and possession of a controlled substance, Miami-Dade jail records show.
The charges stem from incidents involving three different women dating back to 2022, according to arrest reports.
All of the alleged incidents took place at Bittner’s luxury condominium building in the 1300 block of West Avenue, according to reports.
“The way I would categorize him is that this is an individual who victimized at least three women. He caused pain and suffering that I’m sure will last the rest of their lives. Fortunately, these women had the courage to speak out,” he told Miami Beach Police Department spokesman Ernesto Rodríguez. stay behind bars.”
An alleged victim, a 47-year-old woman, told investigators she was sexually assaulted by Bittner on Jan. 30, 2022, according to reports.
The woman said she met Bittner in April or May 2020 and considered him a friend, knowing he was married.
He later told her that he and his wife had broken up and the two had started dating, but when he tried to have sex with her, she reportedly rebuffed his advances.
On the day of the alleged incident, Bittner asked the woman to come to his house for a drink of wine, but she said when he arrived he was smoking crack and doing cocaine and offered her ecstasy , according to police reports.
She refused the drugs but accepted a glass of wine, later saying she was starting to feel drowsy and it looked like he had drugged her to drink, reports continue.
It was then that Bittner allegedly sexually assaulted her as she tried to get him arrested.
“Due to her altered condition, which is believed to be the result of being drugged, she was unable to defend herself,” the reports say.
The woman was able to wrestle with him and he left his house.
Bittner later told detectives the relationship was consensual and denied drugging the woman, according to the three police reports.
Police reports also include a second alleged victim, a 25-year-old woman, who said she was sexually assaulted by Bittner on October 29, 2022.
The woman said she was living in Rome, Italy, and was looking for a place to rent in Miami Beach when she was contacted by Bittner, who offered her a room in his apartment for $1,500 a month. .
She agreed and arrived in Miami, where Bittner picked her up from the airport.
When he arrived at his apartment, he saw a table in the living room covered in drugs.
The woman said Bittner ingested cocaine and then became physically violent, pulling her over the head, then grabbing a gun and telling her to “keep the show going,” according to reports.
Bittner grabbed her by the neck and pushed her onto her couch, then stripped her naked and sexually assaulted her, according to the report.
The woman said she tried to push him away but was unsuccessful, although she was eventually able to get in touch by phone with an acquaintance, who answered and picked her up.
Bittner told detectives the meeting was also consensual, according to reports.
A third victim, a 34-year-old woman, told police she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Bittner on February 4 this year, according to reports.
The woman said she was in her apartment waiting for the elevator when Bittner approached her. They chatted and exchanged phone numbers. Later, Bittner texted her asking if she wanted a drink, and she reportedly accepted.
She went to his apartment, where he offered her cocaine, but she refused, so he mixed her vodka with ginger ale, according to reports.
The woman said she took a small amount, but said she was starting to feel “extremely relaxed”, according to reports.
At one point, Bittner forcefully poured liquid into his mouth, and his next memory was waking up on his couch with Bittner grabbing him by the neck, according to reports.
She pushed him away and left the house, but after he left, Bittner sent her photos he took of her sleeping on his couch, according to reports.
The woman then found a video on her phone of her confronting Bittner and asking him why he drugged her, according to reports.
In the video, she told him she didn’t want him to drug her, and he replied, “So why did you leave?” the reports read.
The woman then purchased an over-the-counter drug test which revealed cocaine in her system, which she never ingested voluntarily.
Bittner told detectives that his encounter with the woman was not sexual and said he was “just nice” to her.
Bittner appeared in court on Tuesday, where he was held without bond. Attorney information was not available.
