Devrim Kay is a human explorer in the European Dead Zone (EDZ). Their main purpose is to fend off enemies and aid the Guardians in their recovery efforts in the area. You can find it in the church tower not far from where you spawn in this location, Trostland. He seems to have taken root there and will occasionally fire a sniper rifle at the strange Fallen Dreg.
In terms of lore, he is the adoptive father of Suraya Hawthorne and the husband of Marc. If you talk to him or stay with him long enough, you will hear him chat over tea and loot the Cabal for half a dozen coins. eggs. He loves skirmishes and even more enjoys talking to people about them.

Devrim Kay in The Red War
During Destiny 2’s vanilla campaign, The Red War, Devrim Kay was one of the first people you met while following the story. In Season of Defiance, Devrim Kay returns home. While The Vanguard focuses on Neptune and Neomuna in the Lightfall campaign, Devrim works with Mara Sov, Queen of the Awakened, to battle Calus’ forces on Earth. The Witness has landed Pyramid ships on the planet, and Calus’ forces are capturing people and imprisoning them, including Amanda Holliday. Devrim works with you to plan skirmishes against the army of Calus and The Witness, rescuing those they have captured and bringing them home.

Devrim Kay is voiced by Gideon Emery, who also plays Master Ives. However, this is far from Emery’s first role in a video game.
