ISinger J Balvin’s mother, Alba Mery Balvin Although in her native Colombia she is popularly known as Albita, she gave her second press interview after overcoming the worst moment of her life: a two-month hospitalization due to Covid-19. And, although Albita has always been at peace with life, she also wanted to give her opinion on what happened in March 2022, when the Puerto Rican rapper A resident attacked his son during a historic seance with Argentinian producer Bizarrap as one more step in an open dispute between the two months.

Albita explained from the set of Laura Acuna’s room that when Resident released Music Sessions #49 In which she said things like J Balvin was more wrong than a “hot dog with no ketchup or bread” and called him a racist and a failure, she and her family were in for a moment of absolute bliss. GOOD it had been a very short time since he had woken up from an induced coma and, although she was still in intensive care, her son J Balvin and daughter were already with her, appreciating the gift life had given them with her coming out of a coma.

Balvin’s mother confessed that she first heard about the session from a nurse at the hospital. Later, his own son broke the news to him. “Eight days after coming out of the induced coma, Josecito said to me and I said to him: ‘even if I didn’t die, because they would have blamed Residente… Because in this state I was and I get this news,'” Albita herself explained in a somewhat pleasant tone.

“You have to look at Resident with different eyes, it’s on its way, so it could be a bad time…I’m the number one defender of anyone who’s wrong and anyone who hurts my family, my family, at my boy, to Carito (J Balvin’s sister), because you don’t know what’s inside. The person who behaves like that is that something scratches inside and you don’t know not what… And at some point in his life, he may have repented”, defended Albita and added later that, if he did not, he should thank her, because if she dies, they wouldn’t have blamed the Covid-19, if not on his song, and that would be absolutely wrong.

J Balvin’s family were very angry with Residente

But the mother of the rapper from Medellín did not remain alone on the surface. Alba Mery Balvin assured that Residente’s harsh verses against her son they made her very uncomfortable and even deeply outraged some members of her familywho were outraged by both the content of the session itself and the timing Bizarrap and Residente chose to cast her since she was still in intensive care at the time.

However, the one who is the mother and right arm of J Balvin maintained that in the hardest moments, she always remained firm saying that there was no reason to blame the former member of Calle 13.

“He had a bad time, but there will never be anything from my heart towards him. I deeply respect that time he had… I think we have to help each other, it’s not that if you give me a stick, I’ If you give me a stick, give me generosity, that’s what I need. Listen to me, because something is going on inside…” , Albita told his investigators to immediately settle the matter saying that she, despite being in intensive care when the song came out, he felt that he was not anyone’s victim.
