Investigation into possible fatal hit-and-run of a woman in Koreatown

Los Angeles police are investigating the death of a woman who was reportedly hit by a car in the Koreatown neighborhood.

The woman was found at 5:15 a.m. near First Street and Westmoreland Avenue, according to the LAPD.

“We received a vehicle-to-pedestrian radio call. Upon arrival, we found a female victim at the scene, but it is not known if it was a hit-and-run,” investigators added.

The identity of the woman has not yet been revealed.
