NEW YORK — Tutoring classes aren’t just for kids, but adults can enjoy them too.

In the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, English classes are now available on select dates through the NYPD Office of Community Affairs.

The first class was held Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the PAL Armory Center located at 216 Fort Washington Avenue. The location of future courses is subject to change.

Registration is ongoing and those interested in signing up for future tutorial sessions should email Police Cadet Alex Vega ([email protected]), Detective Marino Núñez ( [email protected]) and Police Officer Edith Gomez (Edith. [email protected]).
