“Insomniacs after school” is, by far, one of the most anticipated anime adaptations of this 2023, especially when it comes to slices of life and love stories. Obviously it does not have the name of others franchises debuting or returning to action in April 2023, but I’m confident it will be one of those anime that hooks those who give it a chance. Now we know exactly when does this story begin which will bring together two students suffering from sleep disorders.

- Insomniacs After School anime premieres from April 10, 2023.
- The studio in charge of the anime is LIDE FILMS. If you want a reference to recent work, this is the studio behind Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown. Likewise, Goblin Slayer Season 2 is also planned along with Kenshin’s new anime.
- As of now, no details have been confirmed, such as which platform will be in charge of distributing the anime or how many episodes it will have. However, since the manga has 11 published volumes, I would bet on a first season of 12 episodes considering that in the future a second season can be created without excessive delay.
You will have already glimpsed it from my previous comments, but “Insomniacs After School” is one of the anime I most want to see premiere in April 2023. Yes, there will also be things like “Kimetsu no Yaiba” or “Jigokuraku” that will surely get everyone talking in RRSS, but this story has the potential to be one of the ones that really sticks with people once they discovered it.
