During the bail court, Camilo Pedraza heard the charges against him. Among them, harassment and sexual assault.
He is also charged with another count of second-degree kidnapping.
This is the subject that appears in this surveillance video, as he runs towards a woman and according to the police, he grabs her firmly by the waist.
“She was pale, scared. He couldn’t talk much. She just stared at me with wide eyes,” a witness said.
The woman’s screams alerted neighbors on Southwest 24th Street and 23rd Avenue in Miami.
“It was the terrifying cry and the police acted well because they arrived quickly,” said a neighbor.
But by then the subject had already leaked. Once recovered, the victim recounted what had happened.
Said someone wanted her back. Catch her and when I came out the man was already running.
On February 17, Pedraza reportedly resumed acting. This time in Miami Beach. The victim in this second case said that as she was walking, someone grabbed her from behind and started touching her under her clothes, until she could escape.
Finally, Camilo Pedraza was identified and arrested on March 3. His car had been recorded by surveillance cameras during both incidents.
