In this guide I will tell you how to complete the side mission step by step “Interior design” of Hogwarts Legacy, although this is a very easy and absolutely necessary mission if you want to get the most out of the mechanics this game has to offer.

Interior Design Side Mission Guide

how does it start

To start this quest, you must have completed the main mission of the Room of Requirement, that is, you already have your own room. Once you unlock it and complete this mission, all you need to do is talk to Professor Matilda Weasley in that same room. This will give you some useful hints for the piece.

How to complete it

The first thing you need is collect Opal, but that’s in case you don’t have enough, which you probably will if you’ve explored long enough outside of Hogwarts. It is these blue stones that you find in many places outside the castle that you can attack and destroy to collect their remains.

Opals are used to create new furniture and decorations in the Room of Requirement. You just have to invoke now 5 wall decorations there 5 floor decorations. Those on the floor can be absolutely any piece of furniture that goes on the floor, not just rugs.

Room on request

Once done, talk to Professor Weasley again and she will give you a new spell that will help you modify the furniture already placed. You can change the style (there are four styles for several of the decorations) and the color, as well as the size. Change those three things and talk to Weasley again.

Room on request

It will now ask you to modify the wall or the floor of the room, what you can do as if it were an object. Modify it using the spell you learned and talk to Deek afterwards. There you go, mission accomplished!

mission rewards

  • In addition to expanding the Room of Requirement, you will take the summon Gold Herbology Trophy and Screens
