In this guide I will tell you step by step how to complete the side mission “Hand Bird” of Hogwarts Legacy. This is one of the relationship missions in Poppy Sweeting where, again, you will have to go to ruins, do puzzles, etc. I’ll also tell you what rewards you’ll get for completing it, as well as how to start it.
“Bird in the Hand” Side Quest Guide
how does it start
You need to meet Poppy Sweeting when she tells you after completing her previous relationship quest. It will be not far from Brocburrow (also known as Meadowview). Your objective is to find pieces of gold.
How to complete it
First, follow her and you’ll talk to Dorran the Centaur. You will have to solve a small puzzle. On the door there will be two light symbols, and with the lamps there you have to move them with Accio to place them just in the opposite corners to these symbols on the floor. Thus, the central pillar will shade these symbols.
Once done, you will enter the lair called the Golden Pole. Inside, you just have to move forward as you fight. There will be a time when you have to rise to two heights where there is two blocks that must be placed on the ground, and one to shoot Glacius and the other Fire. To access these cubes you will have to levitate some boxes that will be in the area using Levioso, you will climb there and you can jump to the height where the cubes are.
This done, go to the next room where you will have to fight. When you’re done with the fight, keep going and you’ll get to the end of the mission with a cutscene where you’ll find the gold pieces with Poppy.
