Orlando Florida. – According to Sergio Gonzalez, weather expert at Telemundo 31, another round of strong to severe storms could once again reach central Florida, hitting the eastern part of the region with more force.

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has raised the severe weather level to two, which means that by being late there is a risk of large hail, wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour (mph) and electric lightning strikes.

Similarly, west-central Marion and Polk, West Lake and Sumter have a level 1 risk of severe weather.

Hour by hour thunderstorms

  • 1:00 p.m.: Central Florida will begin scattered showers due to clashing breezes, which have caused instability throughout the week.
  • 3:00 p.m.: The rain will begin to intensify for several of the severe weather risk areas.
  • 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Intense severe thunderstorms for central Florida counties.
  • 7:00 p.m.: The intensity of the storms will decrease.

However, the rains will persist in the region until the evening.
