The bond that unites a granddaughter and her grandmother has conquered social networks, and they have become famous by making tastings together: nothing less than burritos.
Thousands of people on the TikTok social network follow the adventures of this outstanding duo: Vanessa and her grandmother Lolita, who for about a year have been reviewing bean and cheese burritos from different restaurants together.
“Beans and cheese and I give it a thumbs up,” said Dolores Pérez Aguayo, star of “The Burrito Review.”
“She’s the star of these shows, I can’t make a video without her,” said Vanessa Forsblad, creator of “The Burrito Reviews.”
Some videos of the project entitled “The Burrito Review” have gone viral because they highlight the tenderness and complicity of this duo.
“She loves me very much and I love her,” Lolita’s granddaughter said.
Mrs. Lolita recently turned 93 and she says she is very happy.
To commemorate this special date, his granddaughter Vanessa made him a gigantic donkey, using two pounds of cheese and six tortillas, but most important was how the beans were prepared.
And it is that the beans were prepared with the recipe of his grandmother, who in addition to teaching Mexican cuisine and traditions to these next generations, left them other important lessons.
“I see her as a great example of the woman I want to become,” the granddaughter said.
And for Grandma Lolita, Vanessa is the apple of her eye.
“She is very pretty and she likes to talk, and so do I,” Grandma Lolita said.
Lolita clarified that in her heart there are doors and windows for her eight children and 15 grandchildren.
And at 93, she says she will continue to be encouraged to keep venturing out to try all the bean and cheese burritos brought to her.
“Well, I’m already chubby,” Grandma Lolita said.
