Orlando Florida. – Central Florida is under fire danger watch issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) until 7 p.m. this Friday.

The lack of rain in recent weeks, combined with low humidity and wind gusts of up to 35 miles per hour, increases the risk of fires, especially in rural areas.

New or existing fires can spread quickly under these conditions.

In view of this, authorities are asking people to be careful and properly extinguish cigarettes, avoid parking vehicles on dry grass or other activities that may generate sparks or flames.

On the other hand, there is also a high risk of rip currents at all beaches in East Central Florida. Strong waves will be present, so entering the ocean is not recommended
