Texas police confirmed the arrest of Tanner Lynn Horner, a 31-year-old man responsible for the murder of Athena Strand, a 7-year-old girl who had been missing for several days in Wise County, Texas and who was wanted by more of 200 volunteers.
According to local authorities, the subject confessed to having killed the girl after having “panicked” after accidentally running over her during her workday.
Investigators in charge of the case affirm that Lynn confessed that Lynn put the infant in the truck after accidentally running over her, stressing that he was not seriously injured at the time of the events, as he even had a small conversation with her.
It was when the girl told the driver that she would tell her father that she had been hit by the FedEx truck that she “panicked” and killed her.

Authorities located the minor’s body on Friday, December 9, southeast of the city of Boyd, after having questioned Lynn, who provided them with information about her whereabouts. Currently the perpetrator of this terrible crime is already at the disposal of the corresponding Prosecutor’s Office.
