One more time, Knott’s Berry Farm will be implementing an escort policy due to an increase in “inappropriate” behavior within its properties.

The escort policy is intended to prevent inappropriate behavior from occurring at Knott’s Berry Farm and Soak City Water Park.

Visitors 15 or younger must be accompanied by someone 21 or older to enter the park and/or stay after 4 p.m. until closing.

Unaccompanied visitors will be escorted out of the park. The companion should be present at all times and have their phone ready in case they are called.

They will be required to present a valid government-issued ID showing their date of birth at the front door. An accompanying person is authorized to accompany a maximum of 10 people under the age of 15.

Knott’s Berry Farm first implemented the escort policy after several fights broke out on July 16, 2022.

Following these events, Knott’s Berry Farm has decided to implement the escort policy on July 22, 2022.

Over the months, the theme park continued to monitor visitor behavior and update the policy. It was finally canceled on February 3, 2023. However, it didn’t last long.

The most recent escort policy comes into effect on Saturday, April 22 and will remain in effect until further notice.
