Son Gohan He was from the beginning an extremely relevant character in the tradition of “Dragon Ball Z“, living proof that Goku’s legacy had the potential to extend far beyond him…even if decades later, he remains the franchise’s leading man. In any case, at the when we met Gohan as a very scared kid who didn’t exactly dress in muted colorsand what is curious is that it seems that since Toei they thought a lot what Goku’s son’s outfit was supposed to look like.

Gohan Could Have Been Very Different At The Beginning Of Dragon Ball Z

It was therefore thanks to EmperorBigD that I was able to find a series of old Gohan designs from the beginning of “Dragon Ball Z” in which, as you will see below, they were taken into account up to 4 different color palettes beyond the final:

I don’t know about you, but me personally I have two favorites between these drawings, the first and the last, and here are the reasons:

  • The first of the designs suits me because I think it’s the one with the most natural color combination.. The second seems too discreet to me and the third just the opposite, so it’s the first that seems to strike the right balance.
  • As for the last one, while I don’t find the color combination particularly pretty, the fact that the main tone of the outfit is orange buys me.. In the end, it is the color with which I most identify Dragon Ball (both for the Dragon Balls and for Goku’s Gi). Of course, the blue hat is something I don’t like at all.

For all this, I remind you that it was recently announced that The manga “Dragon Ball Super” will enter a new stage after its brief stint in the prequel to “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” to, in effect, begin to adapt the film itself.. In the article I shared, you can find all known details about it today.
