During the Warring States of Japan, Lord Daigo Kagemitsu makes a pact with 12 demons and exchanges his unborn son for the prosperity of his lands. The child is born deformed and is abandoned in a river, so that the lands of Kagemitsu can prosper. Years later, the thief Dororo meets the mysterious “Hyakkimaru”, a boy with sword weapons and whose blind eyes can see monsters.
