With yesterday’s storm, many mountainous areas of California and Baja California were painted white and one of the most beautiful towns in California (as well as more Christmassy), Julian is white due to the snow that accumulated. In fact, yesterday the Visit Julian page asked visitors to wear chains.

Although currently the snow is not as dense as yesterday, as a precaution the ideal will be to bring chains:
“You must stop and put on chains when road signs indicate chains are required. The California Highway Patrol can cite you and fine you if you don’t. Typically, you will have about a mile between the “Chains Required” signs and the checkpoint to install your chains.”

On the other hand, remember that one of the most attractive things about visiting Julian, California is the famous apple pie (apple pie) that is traditional to the place and has an excellent reputation. So if you want to enjoy a beautiful white panorama and a delicious dessert, this getaway is the ideal one for you.
