Cuban nurse Alfredo Gutiérrez, 56, was accused of committing lewd acts on an 85-year-old man, who was under his care in Miami.
Local police arrested the man after it was discovered, via security cameras, that he was holding the old man’s hand to rub his genitals.
The suspicion of abuse began when the old man’s daughter began to notice a strange behavior in her father and therefore decided to place these devices for greater surveillance.

Gutiérrez, now a former employee of the local palliative care agency Opuscare, confessed to the authorities that he abused the elderly man five times and for this reason the same number of charges were brought against him.
After appearing in court last weekend, the nurse posted a $ 5,000 bond and will be free while authorities carry out the corresponding investigation.
Although this abuse is considered an isolated event, the Miami-Dade police ask other people to file their complaints if they ever became victims of the patient.
The company, in addition to firing Gutiérrez, issued a statement saying “this former employee had absolutely no defects in his record. We are very concerned about these allegations, we have cooperated and will continue to cooperate with the Department of Children and Families, the police and the family.
