A section of Pecos Road east of downtown Las Vegas will be closed for two nights this week to allow for ongoing work on US 95/I-515.
The Nevada Department of Transportation said Pecos will be closed between Stewart Avenue and Bonanza Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, February 21 and 22.
This area will be used to place steel beams on the Pecos Freeway Bridge for the current widening project.
Beams were also installed on Stewart Avenue last week.
Work on the highway is expected to continue until spring next year.
