A start to the week with some rainfall during the day, temperatures in the 45s and mostly cloudy skies. In the evening hours and during the early hours of Tuesday we will have the possibility of snow in the Denver metropolitan area.
A winter weather advisory will go into effect Monday at noon for mountainous areas and will remain until 3pm, Tuesday.
Snow in Colorado is nothing out of the ordinary for a month of May, but it doesn’t always include the metropolitan area. This storm system promises to leave 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation for Denver and adjacent areas.
The last time we received snow in Denver during the month of May was on the 22nd of 2019.
Weather conditions begin to improve again as of Wednesday with an increase in temperatures and mostly sunny days.
