Orlando Florida. – The National Weather Service (NWS) has placed several central Florida counties at minimal risk of severe weather.

Sergio González, weather expert for Telemundo 31, predicted scattered coastal rains in the morning, which will arrive in the central region in the afternoon with electric shocks and stronger winds.

Storms will develop over central Florida after 3 p.m.

They look strong and severe.

The main threats from these storms appear to be frequent lightning strikes, wind gusts up to around 50 mph with some, hail up to an inch in diameter and heavy downpours.

Are floods expected?

Heavy rain could reach up to two inches for coastal areas. There may be standing water on the roads.
