A driver was rushed to hospital on Thursday morning after the car he was driving crashed into a tree in Margate, Broward County.
The crash happened shortly before 6 a.m. near the intersection of Rock Island Road and Atlantic Boulevard.
Footage from the crash shows the mangled remains of the car with the tree virtually encrusted.
Margate Police said the car crash led to a person being rushed to an area hospital on trauma alert. The identity and condition of this person have not been disclosed.
Investigators did not provide any additional information about the accident.
