Arturo Valls is about to embark on a new project. The presenter will take the reins of This is my Jam EspañaNBC’s hit show hosted by Jimmy Fallon. It will premiere on Movistar+ in 2023 in collaboration with Lacoproductora (PRISA Media), producer Pólvora Films and Universal Television Alternative Studio.
What is it about It’s my jam? This is an entertainment show that will have two celebrity couples in each program who will face music-related tests and games. SO, Arturo will test his skills in this art.
The program will have its own band, which will play national and international music to see how good (or bad) celebrities are at music and singing. “We couldn’t be more delighted with the continued success of It’s my jam around the world. We are thrilled because Spanish viewers will now be able to experience the magic of this format. It’s my jam It’s a perfect program to watch with the family and we’re excited to be working with Arturo, Movistar Plus+, Lacoproductora and their colleagues at UTAS to get this adaptation off the ground,” said Ana Langenberg, VP of Sales and production of NBCUniversal Formats.
For his part, Arturo Valls also celebrated the arrival of the adaptation of this successful program. “Presenting and co-producing a format that I love as a viewer gives me enormous enthusiasm and a great responsibility. I can’t wait to have a good time with all the friends who are going to come and play on the show, and a dreamy live band, I hope to let those good vibes flow through the screen,” he said.
A success in the United States
Jimmy Fallon’s production company, Electric Hot Dog, as well as Universal Television Alternative Studio are in charge of this program, which is a complete success in the United States. The first season has reached over 250 million views and its second season will arrive on March 7.
