“Extreme illusionist” David Blaine injured himself during his presentation on Saturday in Las Vegas, according to images posted on his social networks.
Blaine, who was performing at Resorts World Theater, injured himself jumping over an 80-foot stack of boxes. According to a press release, the stunt is the first of the show.
“Wow, that hurts,” he said as he fell.
The orthopedic doctors present in the crowd as well as the show’s emergency team were able to reposition his dislocated right shoulder on stage and in front of the crowd. The performance was allowed to continue, although Resorts World’s press release said Blaine was “painful but in good spirits”.
