Actor Chris Noth has been accused of sexual harassment by two women, according to the media specialized in the show, The Hollywood Reporter.

Noth, 67, has made headlines again in recent weeks for his comeback as’ Mr. Big ‘in the reboot of “Sex and the City” for HBO Max titled “And Just Like That”. It was this same notoriety that led the women to speak to the media to reveal their complaints.

In order to protect their identity, the media gave them nicknames. The first woman affected is Zoe, who is currently 40 years old, and the second is Lily, 31 years old.

The two approached THR separately and months apart. The publicity about the reboot of the series would have made them remember the difficult moments they lived in Los Angeles in 2004 and New York in 2015, respectively.

Lily was the first to contact The Hollywood Reporter via mail last August. “I’m not sure how to do with this type of story and how the other victims are found,” she wrote.

For her part, Zoe had communication only in October. The woman works in the entertainment industry and is afraid of the repercussions on her career if her true identity is known, but she felt that it was time to make the case public. “Seeing that he was reprising his role in ‘Sex and the City’ made me wake up something,” she said.

Asked about the allegations, Chris Noth sent a statement to The Hollywood Reporter”

“The accusations against me made by people I knew years, even decades ago, are categorically false. These stories could have been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago, it doesn’t always mean no, that’s a line I didn’t cross. The meetings were consensual. It’s hard not to question when these stories came out. I don’t know for sure why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I didn’t attack these women.”
