This one is a bit hit and miss, but we thought it was interesting nonetheless!
During the weekend, a game called Primeval Omen was getting a lot of attention on social media, described as a “modern survival horror game with dinosaurs created by industry veterans”. As you can see in the tweet below, the inspirations are dinosaur crisis, resident Evilthere jurassic park. Not a bad list!
The game is at least in a somewhat playable state at the moment, but it also needs a publisher. This has led to many people tagging Xbox team members when quoting the tweet, although we haven’t seen any responses from any Xbox employees so far (we really don’t expect that no more !).

Looking at the images, you can see why there’s a lot of interest in this game, but it also (understandably) looks like it needs a bit of a polish as well. The potential is there, and it will be interesting to see if he can live up to the hype.
Whatever happens, we hope the team can find a publisher in the near future and fully realize Primal Omen’s vision, and you never know, we absolutely could be affectionate on Xbox in a few years!
