Nintendo’s Zelda Direct today unveiled the new OLED color scheme for Nintendo Switch, designed to tie in with Tears of the Kingdom. We haven’t yet had a Nintendo Switch edition of The Legend of Zelda, which means mega-fans will be looking to pre-order as soon as it hits shelves. We’ve been tracking console stock since those heady days of 2020, so we know all the tips and tricks for finding a Legend of Zelda Nintendo Switch OLED pre-order in time.
We don’t see any retailers offering stock yet, but we’ll be checking back regularly and keeping this page up to date with the latest developments. What is the Legend of Zelda Nintendo Switch OLED pre-order price?
Although a price has yet to be announced, the Legend of Zelda Nintendo Switch OLED is set to launch at $359.99 / £319.99. This matches previous special edition consoles, with an extra $10/£10 for that specific game color scheme.
When is the Legend of Zelda Nintendo Switch OLED release date?
The new console will launch on April 28, although we don’t know when pre-orders will arrive. That’s just weeks before Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s May 12 release date.

Nintendo doesn’t usually ship its Special Editions with copies of the games they’re linked to, and the same is true here. You’ll need to get a separate copy of Tears of the Kingdom to get the full experience.
