Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 enters its final days with the Cipher Questline, a group of challenges in which players place items in hidden areas. This is especially true for your quest to place recruiting posters around the map, as those on it must travel to hard-to-spot but familiar locations. Here’s how to complete the Place Recruitment Poster Cipher challenge in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

How to Complete the Location Recruitment Poster Challenge in Fortnite

If you’ve done the Crypto Crypto Missions before, this challenge should be pretty easy. It will require players to place at least four Recruitment Posters where Cypher’s Encrypted Missions are. So, those of you who haven’t completed the Crypto Missions yet should expect to earn several thousand XP by completing this challenge. Note that once in these places, you only need to interact with the nearby square holograms to create a poster. You can find all of the recruitment poster locations pictured and detailed below.

  2. Anvil Square Recruitment Posters: In the building closest to the bridge east of Anvil Square, you need to steal his locker on the first floor and take the stairs in front of you. There will be two signs in this area, along with “1.17.23.9.14. 19.19.24.1.21.6” look for encrypted encryption.
  3. Broken slab recruitment poster: This banner is where the message “19.11.2.20.22.5.20.8.4. Encrypted Quest 22.13.1.4.19 is set, which appears above the rock slabs in the upper left corner of Shattered Slabs.
  4. Defective Division Recruitment Posters: There are two posters that appear in the basement of the Faulty Splits bowling alley. The stairs to this basement are located next to the first floor dining room facing the bowling alleys.

Upon completing the quest, you’ll earn 10,000 XP and be one step closer to unlocking the collection of four Cipher event cosmetics. In addition, it should be noted that these posters can be related to the upcoming season, since they write “See you soon”. While it’s not specified what these banners are for, various Chapter 4 Season 2 leaks may have already botched their Battle Pass offerings and possible map changes.
