Can you use Red Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
There is a strange item you can find since the release of the Friendship Festival update. Sure, Mirabel can be unlocked by finding her golden doorknob, but there are more mysteries to solve. You might come across Red Potato, who is cleverly hidden in the valley in a specific resident’s house.

After downloading the Friendship Festival update, if you head to Remy’s house, you’ll see that it’s possible to interact with one of the cabinets. If you interact with the cabinet, a mysterious red potato will appear. When you pick it up, the item’s description reads, “A strange ingredient found in Remy’s refrigerator… What recipe could be made from it?”

It’s a rare item to find in a Resident’s house, for sure. Currently there is no known use for the item. Of course, you can’t help but think of the other weird potato that appeared in the game a while ago from code: the golden potato. Both elements are seemingly unusable but hint at something bigger. Maybe Red Potato will come in handy later in the game while on a quest. For now, the best thing to do is to store the potato in a chest for later use.
