There are 4 mount slots in the L1/LB button menu. In this guide we answer the question what is the end mount location for in Hogwarts Legacy? Since there are 4 slots, only 3 of them are available for most of the game.
When you hold down the L1 or LB button, you get an item interface menu where you can select combat items. At the bottom right of this menu is another menu related to the 4 main buttons of your controller. You get access to a lot of them pretty early on. You get your broom and a flying mount, but the icon on the left side remains blank for much of the game.
What is the end mount slot for in Hogwarts Legacy?
This last mount slot is reserved exclusively for mounts that cannot fly, so these are more traditional mounts, like horses and such. We probably missed one, but we only got our first normal mount towards the end of the game, about three missions away from the final story mission. It’s a story event, unlocking the final mount slot, so you can’t miss it, but it’s not something you can unlock until you’ve nearly finished the game.
