Shiro Games (Evoland, Northgard, Dune: The Spice Wars) announced today at the Future Games Show that War Tales It will be released in final version on Steam on April 12.
War Tales are a turn-based medieval open-world RPG located in an inhospitable country. The great plague reduced the population by turning it into wandering souls. Players will have to fight for food and resources to keep expanding their gang, attacking towns, abandoned mines and more, while uncovering a complex story in a world at war.
Con Over 400,000 copies sold and over 9,000 “very positive” reviews on Steam (90%) during your early access, War Tales It’s already a classic of the genre that offers a huge open world to explore, over 100 hours of content and unique combat and mechanics to master. Since December, players can also play on cooperative wayallowing them to use an ally to share resources, manage and reinforce their deadly band of mercenaries.
Along with the release date, Shiro Games also revealed Alazar, the new region which takes players through a mountainous ecosystem to follow a new story, get new armor for all three factions and face new enemies. Early Access players enjoy a more polished experience, bonus content, balanced gameplay, and increased customization options (face, hair, beards and faces), in addition to the inclusion of new models of backpacks for each type of armor.
War Tales is still available in Early Access on Windows PC via Steam for €34.99/£29.99/$34.99 with translations in English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese.
